The rituals, costumes and moments to share are the ways in which the principles of the community are enacted and made real.

Having said that, experience tells us that having some small rituals creates a sense of belonging (key to any community) and helps to hold the space for new connections to grow and for new proposals and ideas to emerge and crystalize.

Rituals are proposals that were once made, people enjoyed them and they stuck in the community, now we do them on a regular basis.

Everyone is more than welcome, and even encouraged to propose new rituals and moments for the community to come together. If you have a proposal, you can share it in the Whatsapp group.

You can also ask us to help organize it and they will assist you with an extra hand/brain, communicating with the community and preparing everything.

At the moment we have two main rituals:

🤝  Tuesday’s community session / Co-learning

It’s a moment dedicated to nurturing connection in the community and learn together, a forum to come together in meaningful ways and live our principles as a community. A moment to help and support each other with challenges we are facing, to exchange knowledge or just to have a conversation about something that matters to us.

The dynamic is very simple: The topic of the session is decided on a weekly basis. You can just join and bring what’s more relevant for you at that moment or simply come to listen and support other members in the community. Optionally you can propose to host a session, we prepare it together and communicate it to the group.

🧑‍🍳 Thursday’s family dinner

On Thursdays we meet to cook dinner together and enjoy a nice homemade meal. This is a great time to have a relaxed conversation, share how our week is going, dream about new ideas, welcome new members to the community or simply have fun together.

We organize it collaboratively: On a weekly basis we configure the cooking and cleaning teams and they self organize to prepare the dinner and clean afterwards.
